About Centre Stage
Centre Stage was formed in 1990 and since then we have played an important part in thousands of events. We specialise in providing Sound, Lighting and Staging systems for events ranging from Rock to Opera, Festivals, Conferences, Arts Projects and Contemporary Dance, and from Corporate, Community and Professional sectors. Like everyone else we believe we are different from the rest, but there is only one way for you to find out and that is to give us a try. During 2007 we were involved in over 300 events including providing production management and sound equipment for the Little Noise Sessions for Mencap at the Union Chapel in London which involved 38 Bands and Artists over 9 Days including Keane, Snow Patrol, Duffy, Will Young and Bono and The Edge from U2. We have always had a heavy involvement with local authority events and during the year we produced and provided sound and lighting equipment for Newham Council’s Under The Stars Festival. In this our 6th year with this 4 day event, the 2007 artists included Soul to Soul and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for an audience of over 15000. At the other end of the scale we provided sound, lighting and staging equipment for a dinner party attended by the King of Sweden and 11 other guests.
